Palo Santo, meaning "Holy Wood", is a sacred tree native to South America, particularly Ecuador and Peru. For centuries it has been used in spiritual ceremonies for cleansing, healing and meditation. When burned, its naturally fragrant wood produces a warm, uplifting aroma believed to clear negative energy, reduce stress, encourage emotional balance and invite peace, positivity and spiritual protection into your space.
How to Use
- Light the tip: Hold the stick at a 45° angle and light one end using a match or lighter.
- Allow it to burn: Let the flame burn for approximately 30–45 seconds.
- Blow out the flame: Gently extinguish the flame, allowing the stick to smoulder and produce fragrant cleansing smoke.
- Cleanse your space: Slowly move the smoking stick around your room, home, workspace, crystals or yourself while setting your intention.
- Extinguish safely: Place the Palo Santo stick in a fireproof dish or bowl and allow it to go out naturally before storing.
